For the fifth consecutive year, Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal have named Rumpke Waste & Recycling a U.S. Best Managed Company for 2024.
The U.S. Best Managed Companies program recognizes successful private companies in four key categories: strategic planning, operational execution, a commitment to their people and fostering a dynamic culture, as well as strong governance and financials. Nominees for the award undergo a rigorous application review by a panel of independent judges.
“This honor is only achievable because of the leadership and perseverance from everyone at Rumpke,” said Rumpke president & chief executive officer, Bill Rumpke Jr. “I’m proud of our team and company leaders. Every day, our 4000+ team members strive to deliver exceptional waste and recycling solutions to our customers and communities.”
In 2024, only 62 private companies earned the designation in the U.S., and Rumpke is one of only 15 businesses in the entire country to achieve this honor for five straight years, thus maintaining its “Gold” status. Rumpke is one of four Ohio-based companies to be named a US Best Managed Company this year.
