Mid America Paper Recycling (MAPR) announced that Brian Gaughan is the company’s director of New Business Development. A 30 year industry veteran with an impressive list of accomplishments, he reports to chief executive officer Don Gaines.
Gaughan returns to the recycling industry after he served as a director at Heritage Environmental Services in Indianapolis, and was responsible for growth and new ventures in the sustainability sector since 2021. Prior positions include six years at Greenstar North America. He was a founding partner of the private equity backed start-up before it was sold to Waste Management, where he worked previously.
