Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions (IBS) announced that Michael Castner of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has been appointed to the position of vice president of sales. In this role, Castner will oversee Hyde’s national sales force assisting companies and distributors by providing more productive cutting and processing solutions.
Castner has over 20 years of experience in senior sales leadership roles with major international and national industrial manufacturing companies. Most recently, as vice president at ESAB, a leader in fabrication, welding and automation machinery, he oversaw the development of successful relationships with distributors to drive growth in key market segments. In the past, Castner was also vice president of sales at Sandvik Coromant, a global leader in cutting tool and machining operations.
Castner has also been involved with several successful new business-to-business product introductions with over 25 key products launched over the last four years alone.
Beyond his sales leadership experience, Castner has also worked extensively with customer care service teams to improve response times and deliver more efficient solutions to customer concerns.
