Can Manufacturers Institute (CMI) president Scott Breen shared that Pearce Crosland will join the association as senior director of government relations and regulatory affairs.
Crosland has been recognized as a strong and proven federal advocate. He will serve as CMI’s chief federal lobbyist and regulatory affairs lead, representing the metal can industry before Congress, federal agencies and the Administration, as well as allied stakeholders.
Crosland most recently worked as the director of government affairs for the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS). He served as the association’s lobbyist in Washington, D.C., advocating on behalf of the industry on Capitol Hill, at the White House and within federal agencies.
Prior to joining PLASTICS, Pearce spent two years at the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International and nearly five years at the National Restaurant Association.
His work as a trade association lobbyist has been recognized by The Hill as a Top Lobbyist in Washington and by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics as one of the Top Trade Association Lobbyists in the country.
