The Fox Scholarship Fund was created in 1994 to honor one of the founding members of the National Recycling Coalition, the country’s oldest recycling advocacy organization. This endowment allows the organization to continue Murray Fox’s legacy of fostering future leaders in sustainable materials management fields.
This year, $3,000 will be awarded to one student to assist with their educational expenses. The recipient will also receive membership in the National Recycling Coalition, its Emerging Leaders network, and admission to the annual National Recycling Congress this Fall. Funding will be focused on advancing students’ academic and professional interests in zero waste planning and development and/or organics recycling.
Applications will be accepted through May 30, 2025. More information and applications are available at the NRC’s Campus Council website.
