- The Town of Northfield was awarded $3,160 towards the purchase of four 40 foot storage containers that will be used as an electronics sorting workshop and to store valuable recyclables.
- The Town of Pembroke was awarded $5,000 towards the purchase of a split-body truck that will allow the town to pick up both recycling and municipal solid waste (trash) from residents at the same time.
- The Wilton Solid Waste District was awarded $3,720 towards the purchase of three storage trailers that will help keep recyclable material clean and dry, ensuring the best marketability of the materials. The
Wilton Solid Waste District services five New Hampshire towns including Wilton, Mason, Temple, Greenville, and Lyndeborough. - The Town of Freedom was awarded $5,000 towards the purchase of a recycling compactor to collect and compact recyclables from residents.
- The Town of Peterborough was awarded $5,000 towards the purchase of a large storage unit that stores an impressive amount of baled recyclables, including cardboard and steel and aluminum cans, before they are sent to market.
- The Tri-Town Transfer Station located in Franconia was awarded $5,000 towards the purchase of a new horizontal baler, which has allowed the town to start baling even more material that was previously shipped out loose. The bales are able to compact more recyclables for each load, thus enabling the town to garner increased revenue from the sale. The facility services three New Hampshire towns including Franconia, Easton, and Sugar Hill.
- The Town of Sunapee was awarded $5,000 towards the purchase of a roll-off truck that will service and transport recycling for the towns of Sunapee and Springfield.
The NH the Beautiful Recycling Equipment Grant program is available to any New Hampshire Municipal Recycling Center or Transfer Station.
