Longtime Nucor executive Jim Darsey retired on June 9, concluding a 39 year career with the company.
Nucor said Darsey, who served as executive vice president of raw materials, is succeeded by Craig A. Feldman, president of Nucor’s scrap business. As part of his new responsibilities, Feldman will be promoted as an executive vice president. He has been with David Joseph Co. since 1986, when he began as a brokerage representative.
In 2008, Nucor acquired the business, and Feldman became a Nucor vice president and general manager. He was named president of David Joseph Co. in 2013, a role he will retain through his latest promotion.
