The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) hired Ece Cetin as manager of industry DEI, education, and database.
In addition to developing NWRA’s DEI program, Cetin will work on NWRA’s education program and maintain the database.
Originally hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, Cetin earned her bachelor’s degree in American Culture and Literature and her master’s degree in Strategic Communication Management. She got her start as an English instructor at some of the most respected universities. She went on to manage education projects and marketing for a company in Europe before moving to the U.S.. Since 2016, she has planned and executed events, created marketing campaigns and designed education programs in the Washington, D.C., area.
