Resource Recycling Solutions expands ownership

Resource Recycling Systems (RRS), a leader in circular economy and sustainable waste management consulting since 1986, expanded its ownership team with the addition of seven accomplished professionals: Isabelle Borkowski, Carrie Bell, Chris King, Maggie Orozco, Ché Pomo, Katy Ricchi, and Annie White. As RRS continues to experience strong growth in the sustainable materials management sector, these individuals bring invaluable expertise that will enhance the company’s services, strengthen its internal operations, and further its mission-driven impact.

With this latest expansion, RRS now counts 30 individual shareholders, reinforcing its commitment to broad-based employee ownership and shared success. The new shareholders have been recognized for their outstanding contributions in advancing client work, improving internal systems, and elevating RRS’s presence in the market.

“Our transition toward broad-based employee ownership marks an exciting time for RRS,” said Brianne Haven, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at RRS. “By expanding our ownership team, we’re deepening our investment in our people and our people are investing in RRS. This new direction fosters a culture of collaboration, leadership, and shared success, strengthening our ability to innovate and make meaningful change in our industry.”

The new shareholders have played instrumental roles in shaping RRS’s growth, from leading groundbreaking projects to advancing operational efficiency and strategic planning. Their expertise spans key areas such as market research, policy analysis, engineering, communications, finance, and sustainable packaging solutions.
