Waste Pro’s Meehan reappointed to Pinellas County Solid Waste committee

The Pinellas County, Florida, board of county commissioners reappointed Tracy Meehan, Waste Pro’s director of communications, to the Solid Waste Technical Management Committee (TMC) for a third term. This is an advisory committee to the board of county commissioners (BCC) responsible for making recommendations to the county on rates, formation, implementation, and revisions of policies and programs for solid waste disposal. Meehan is one of 2 members of the 13 member committee appointed by BCC.

Meehan is a Pinellas County, Florida, native with over 22 years of experience in marketing and communications. As communications director for Waste Pro, she oversees all internal and external corporate communication strategies, press releases, public/media relations, social media, branding, marketing, and company newsletters.

In addition to her work at Waste Pro, she is heavily involved in her community. She serves on numerous organizations and committees, including serving as the board president of Keep Pinellas Beautiful. She is also an active member of Recycle Florida Today and the Solid Waste Association of North America.
