Africa produced 2.0 Mt in October 2024, down 0.4 percent on October 2023. Asia and Oceania produced 111.3 Mt, up 1.7 percent. The EU (27) produced 11.3 Mt, up 5.5 percent. Europe, Other produced 3.4 Mt, down 6.2 percent. The Middle East produced 5.0 Mt, up 5.4 percent. North America produced 8.8 Mt, down 3.6 percent. Russia & other CIS + Ukraine produced 6.7 Mt, down 12.2 percent. South America produced 3.8 Mt, up 7.2 percent.

Germany produced 3.2 Mt, up 14.7 percent. Turkey produced 3.0 Mt, up 0.7 percent. Brazil produced 3.1 Mt, up 16.2 percent. Iran produced 3.0 Mt, down 1.9 percent.
