The board of members of the World Steel Association (worldsteel) has elected the following executive board of directors for the 2024/2025 period. The individuals on the executive board of directors will hold office for one year:

- Vice-chair – Leon Topalian – president & chief executive officer, Nucor Corporation
- Treasurer – Mark Vassella, Managing director & chief executive officer, BlueScope Steel Limited
- Chair of Worldstainless – Akihiko Inoue, representative director & president, NIPPON STEEL Stainless Steel Corporation
