Thomas Brown to lead The Associated General Contractors Of America as its new president

The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) announced the new officers who have been selected to lead the nation’s largest construction trade association. Todd Roberts, president of Jackson, Mississippi-based ERS Inc., will serve as senior vice president.

“We have a real opportunity to highlight the essential role our industry plays in building world-class infrastructure, modernizing the economy and supporting millions of middle-class career opportunities,” said Roberts, AGC’s new senior vice president. “As the voice of construction, our association will continue to advocate for a strong industry, help members tackle challenges like workforce shortages and connect them with the people and resources they need to be successful.”

As senior vice president, Roberts will work with the association’s professional staff and national network of chapters to oversee operations and set strategy. Among his priorities for the year are how the association can help create even better workplaces for the construction industry. Todd and his fellow officers will serve in their positions until April 2025, when the association will elect new officers.

The construction association also announced that Thomas Brown, president of Encinitas, California based Sierra Pacific West, will serve as president; Rick Andritsch, partner and vice president of business development for Pewaukee, Wisconsin based VJS Construction Services, will serve as vice president. Ken Kubacki, vice president-Northwest Region manager, Vancouver-based Sundt Construction, will serve as treasurer. Together with Roberts, the four will lead the association’s board of directors.
