Meridian Waste company logo with blue lettering and red and blue swoosh designMeridian Waste, an integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, announced the asset acquisition of Sutton Disposal Service, LLC (Sutton Disposal), a Hannibal, Missouri-based provider of frontload, roll-off and residential collection services. The transaction closed August 1, 2026.

The tuck-in acquisition strengthens Meridian Waste’s growing Missouri operations through the addition of residential collection vehicles, front-load and roll-off trucks, containers and customer service agreements. The acquisition expands Meridian Waste’s service footprint farther into Marion and Ralls Counties, while creating additional operational efficiencies throughout the region.

As part of the transaction, former owner Greg Sutton and the Sutton Disposal team of experienced CDL drivers have joined Meridian Waste as full-time employees. Their continued service will help ensure a seamless transition while maintaining the dependable, high-quality waste collection services customers have come to expect.

All acquired rolling stock have been transferred to Meridian Waste’s Bowling Green hauling operation, where the assets will be integrated into existing residential, commercial and industrial collection operations. The consolidation will improve route density, optimize fleet utilization and position the company for continued strategic growth throughout northeast Missouri.
