KAR Auction Services, Inc. reported its first quarter financial results for the period ended March 31, 2015.
For the first quarter of 2015, the company reported revenue of $632.4 million as compared with revenue of $583.8 million for the first quarter of 2014, an increase of 8 percent. Net income for the first quarter of 2015 increased 163 percent to $54.5 million.
The company also announced a cash dividend of $0.27 per share on the company’s common stock. The dividend is payable on July 2, 2015, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on June 24, 2015.
